The office said the recommendations had been prepared as a result of the visit of two representatives of WHO Regional Office for Europe to Azerbaijan in February.

The experts offered to increase the number of the medical stations in the republic with the view of strengthening epidemiological surveillance in Azerbaijan. These recommendations are being discussed at the Health Ministry.

During their visit to Azerbaijan the experts familiarized themselves with the medical stations in Baku, Mingachevir and Sumgayit exercising epidemiological surveillance over flu.
