Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will not attend the Victory Day Parade in Moscow May 9, Turkish diplomatic representation told RIA Novosti.

Turkish ambassador to Russia Umit Yardim will represent Ankara during the events marking the 70th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War in Moscow.

“Turkey will be represented by the ambassador,” the source told RIA Novosti.
