Some central streets and avenues in Baku will close due to the closing ceremony of the Baku-2015 European Games

On June 28, traffic movement in some streets and avenues of Baku will be restricted.

The Main State Traffic Police Office told APA that due to the closing ceremony of the Baku-2015 European Games traffic movement roads from Heydar Aliyev avenue’s Babek intersection to Sabunchu bridge and from the parliament roundabout of Mehdi Huseynzade street to its intersection with Teymur Elchin street will be restricted from 16:00 to 2:00 next day.

Drivers who plan to drive in the airport direction during the mentioned period of time can use Zigh highway, those coming from the south can use Mardakan-airport highway by choosing Khojahasan highway (Khirdalan roundabout) and form there by passing through Binagadi, Balakhani, Zabrat, and Buzovna villages, and those coming from the north can use Khirdalan roundabout in the same direction.
