Approximately 20 complaints were submitted within the day. The workers of “Hot line” service of Joint Working Group on Implementation of International Standards of Human Rights in Azerbaijan visited Lankaran city and took care about the complaints of the citizens.
According to the head of “Hot line” Service Shahin Jamalov approximately 20 complaints were submitted within the day. Complaint applications are mostly about problems in receiving social aid, provision of electric energy, installation of meters, distribution and occupation of lands etc.
It should be noted that “Hot line” service of Joint Working Group on Implementation of International Standards of Human Rights in Azerbaijan taking into account the number of complaints and law income and rights-violated people living in the regions who can not afford coming to Baku decided to conduct the project “Social mobile service” in several regions of the republic in January and March.
JWG studied the state of human rights in the regions and also investigated the complaints on civil, crime, administrative, labor, social spheres and the facts of corruption and submitted application and complaints in order to assist in solution of these problems.
It should be reminded that the associates of “Hot line” Service visited Guba, Ganja, Shaki and Jalilabad within this project.
