“I hope that these elections and the election campaigns will be helpful in strengthening of new political culture in Azerbaijan” said the newly reelected president of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliev at his inauguration ceremony. According to the information given by Lent.az Ilham Aliev thanked New Azerbaijan Party which nominated him and held his election campaign and the opposition parties which supported his candidacy: “I hope that these elections and the election campaigns will be helpful in strengthening of new political culture in Azerbaijan and will bring new traditions to Azerbaijan. And political struggle will be held only and only in a civil way. Using this opportunity I also thank the other candidates who have congratulated me for the victory”. Ilham Aliev stressed that he would follow Haydar Aliev’s policy in the following 5 years. He also stated that significant development was observed in all spheres in the last 5 years.
