The final meeting of CEC dedicated to the presidential elections will be held today. According to the information given by CEC to ANS PRESS today at the meeting which will be held at 15:00 the final results will be reviewed. During the meeting the final protocol of the presidential elections will be confirmed and the documents will be sent to the Constitutional Court. It should be noted that in connection with the presidential elections conducted on October 15 most of the district election commissions presented their final protocols to Central Election Commission on October 17. According to the article 203.1 of the Election Code CEC has to send the results of the election to Constitutional Court maximum in 10 days. According to the requests of the law the Constitutional Court has to announce the results maximum in 14 days after the voting day. According to the initial results announced by CEC Ilham Aliev received 88.73% of votes and won the presidential elections held on October 15.
