Ombudsman meet with Azerbaijanis living in Dagestan  Elmira Suleymanova: “I will summarize the requests of Azerbaijan Diasporas and introduce them to the plenipotentiary bodies”.

Commissioner for human rights (Ombudsman) of the Republic of Azerbaijan Elmira Suleymanova visited Dagestan Republic, informed the Ombudsman herself to Lent.az in her exclusive explanation. She stated that Dagestan had made its way in order to participate at the international conference carried out by UNESCO. Three representatives of Caucasus as well as Russia and Dagestan have participated at the conference. The issues on participation of women in making decisions both in political life and generally in all processes have been discussed. At the conference Elmira Suleymanova made a speech. Within the visit the Ombudsman met with Azerbaijanis living in Dagestan. “After meeting with Azerbaijanis living in Darband I met with state bodies in Mahachgala. Azerbaijan-Dagestan relations, the cooperation issues in the sphere of human rights and the problems of Azerbaijanis living in Dagestan were discussed in both cities. It appeared that there was no discrimination towards Azerbaijanis living in Dagestan and they participated in the social life of Dagestan. While meeting with Azerbaijan Diasporas in Dagestan they had some requests. I will summarize the requests of Azerbaijan Diasporas and introduce them to the plenipotentiary bodies” she said.
It should be also noted that after returning back from Dagestan Elmira Suleymanova had left for Guba and Gabala.
