34 thousand people who want to observe the upcoming presidential elections have been registered.
According to the information given by APA the head of CEC, Mezahir Panahov informed about it at the Commission meeting. M. Panahov stated that due to the information for October 3, 884 international observers had been registered: “31386 observers who will be observing on the Election Day have been registered at the district election commissions. More than 1000 people have been given the right to observe by CEC”.
Telling that the registration of the observers would be finished by October 5 the head of CEC also touched upon the observation mission of Mass Media representatives: “Local Mass Media representatives are free to observe the elections and the registration is not required. International Mass Media representatives have to be registered”.
