The statement reads that some forces which are interested to break stability in Azerbaijan appealed to the country citizens via “Facebook” social network and called them to join to the protest actions held on March 11.
“That day the supporters of action organizers, about 100 young persons attempted to infringe the public rule in the capital’s different streets and assembly outside “28 May” metro station from 12.00. 43 persons were detained as a result of measures. No attempt of illegal action was recorded in the republic’s other cities and regions. The statement of fact was drawn up and sent to the relevant courts in respect to 20 people. 23 people were set free after official warning. The ministry draws attention to those who intend to infringe the public rules and establish the riot that the bodies of internal affairs will prevent all the actions which are contrary to the legislation in order to secure the rights of country citizens, freedoms, and public security”.
