The democrat representatives gained superiority in both houses of the Congress

Together with the U.S. presidential elections some districts conducted elections for the Congress. According to the information given by Lent.az based on “Associated Press” the democrats seized all the State power.
Together with keeping control over the both houses of the Congress Democrat Party strengthen its position. Now in the House of Representatives Democrat Party has 227 and Republican Party has 151 seats. And in the senate the democrats gained 55 mandates of 100. In some places the bulletins are still being counted and the increase of the difference isn’t an exception. The observers note that since 1994 it is the first time that Democrat Party has seized both the legislative and executive powers.
