Central Election Commission discussed the protocol on the final results of the presidential elections and sent the documents to the Constitutional Court to be affirmed and announced. The resolution on this issue was accepted at the meeting held on October 19. The head of CEC Mazahir Panahov said that according to the 125 protocols received from 125 districts the final result was as following:
Ilham Aliev- 88.73%
Iqbal Agazedeh- 2.86%
Fazil Mustafaev- 2.47%
Gudret Hasanguliev- 2.28%
Gulamhuseyn Alibayli- 2.23%
Fuad Aliev-0.78%
Hafiz Haciev- 0.65%
Mr. Panahov stated that only in 8 polling stations the results were annulled. According to the Election Code CEC has to send the results of the election to Constitutional Court maximum in 10 days.
According to the requests of the law the Constitutional Court has to announce the results maximum in 14 days after the voting day.
