Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev singed a decree August 28 on holding the election to the country’s parliament, the Milli Majlis, on November 1, 2015.

“Being guided by the second part of the article 84 and the first paragraph of the article 109 of the Constitution of Azerbaijan, I decree to assign the election to the country’s Milli Majlis (parliament) for November 1, 2015,” read the president’s decree.
