The parliament has not responded yet the Ombudsperson’s proposal on adoption of the Amnesty Act on the occasion of 20th anniversary of the state independence, Ombudsperson Elmira Suleymanova told journalists.

Suleymanova said currently the parliament is discussing this issue. “Many lawmakers welcomed this proposal and I hope it will have positive result”, said Suleymanova.
