Guoting the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) that Azerbaijan allocated $1.421 billion for defense expenditures in 2010, Armenia – $404 million, Georgia – $452 million.
Armenia increased its defense expenditures for $45 million as against the figures of 2009. Azerbaijan reduced it for $52 million and Georgia – $152 million.
According to SIPRI Military Expenditure Database, Azerbaijan spent $9.215 billion for defense expenditures in 2000-2010, Georgia – $4.317 billion, Armenia – $2.630 billion.
