Azerbaijan has obtained an image of the country with political pluralism in the world, Ali Hasanov, Azerbaijani presidential aide for public and political affairs said on May 7.

Hasanov said at the conference entitled “Azerbaijan in the modern world”, organized by the ruling New Azerbaijan Party and dedicated to the 92nd anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev.

“This is connected with the creation of free atmosphere for the civil society institutions, the media and NGOs, their material and moral support, favorable conditions for the world’s global information resources, leading foreign media outlets and their representative offices,” he said.

He said that this factor has had a real impact on the international image and geopolitical force of Azerbaijan.
