The two countries signed four documents. “Memorandum of Understanding between the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan and Republic (SOCAR) and Greek State Gas Company (DEPA)” was signed by President of SOCAR Rovnag Abdullayev and Chairman of DEPA Harry Sachinis.

“Agreement on cooperation in protection of environment” was signed between the Government of Azerbaijan and the Government of Greece. The document was signed by Azerbaijan’s Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Huseyngulu Bagirov and Greek Deputy Minister of Environment, Energy and Climate Change Yiannis Maniatis.

“Agreement on sea transport” between the Government of Azerbaijan and the Government of Greece was signed by Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov and Minister for Maritime Affairs, Islands and Fisheries of Greece Yiannis Diamantidis.

“Program on cooperation in science, education and culture in 2011-2013 between the Government of Azerbaijan and the Government of Greece” was signed by Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov and Foreign Minister of Greece Dimitris Droutsas.
