Central Election Commission decided to build 500 web cameras in the polling stations at the presidential elections which will be conducted on October 15. According to the information give by APA the secretary of CEC Natig Mammadov reported it at CEC meeting held today. According to his words except the registered observers the general public will also observe the elections. N. Mammadov stated that to build web cameras was for ensuring transparency during the elections and fixing illegal interference. The cameras will be built by the Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies. Any person will be able to observe the elections on the Election Day by entering CEC official site. The member of CEC Akif Gurbanov reported that the building of the cameras had to be informed to the population in a simple language as some people could consider that step as not protecting voting secrecy.
