The steps to be taken towards the resolution of Nagorno Karabakh conflict were discussed during the meeting. Armenian President’s press service reports that Serzh Sargsyan told the co-chairs that he is ready to continue the talks within the framework of the agreements reached in Sochi on March 5. Increase of the armed incidents on the line of contact, including killing of 9-year-old Azerbaijani Fariz Bedelov by a sniper was also discussed during the meeting.

Armenian President refuted the probability that a child was killed by Armenian soldiers.
“Serzh Sargsyan said that these accusations are slanderous, because firing on civilians, especially children, contradicts the moral image of the Armenian soldier. These accusations are nonsense, from technical point of view this incident could not happen in the mentioned territory,” he said.

The co-chairs presented the final report of the assessment mission on Nagorno Karabakh to Armenian President. The similar report was presented to Azerbaijani President on March 15.
