The mission had to make a report related to results of the monitoring last year. Unfortunately, the report has not been made yet and the reason of it is unknown”, Head of the Azerbaijani delegation to OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, Vice-President of Parliament, Bahar Muradova said in her interview to YAP’s website.
Muradova noted that this issue has been raised during OSCE PA’s winter session. To her, the situation in the occupied territories is known to the society of our country: “But the mission’s report is important for Azerbaijan, because the facts in the report will once more bring the essence of Armenian aggressive policy and contra legem steps taken in the occupied territories to the world community. We demand OSCE and its structures to fulfill the obligations. One of their obligations is make a report in time. As you know, the issue on fact-finding mission’s visit to the regions occurred during the discussion of the document connected with the situation in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan at the UN General Assembly. Azerbaijan postponed the discussion of that document at the UN after proposal was given in relation to this mission. I think that not making of the report impedes the UN’s activity in this direction. If the report is made, information on the occupied territories maybe more detailed. It may become into an important document either during the negotiations or the discussions at the international organizations”.
