The delegation will today meet with President Ilham Aliyev, speaker Ogtay Asadov, Prime Minister Artur Rasizadeh. Irena Degutienė will also visit the grave of Heydar Aliyev in the Alley of Honor.

On February 9, Speaker of the Lithuanian Seimas will attend Azerbaijan-Lithuania business forum, meet with Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov, Minister of Economic Development Shahin Mustafayev. Irena Degutienė will get acquainted with the activity of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, visit Azerbaijan Museum of History.

Lithuanian Business Confederation and Vilnius University will sign a cooperation agreement with Azerbaijani partners within the framework of Azerbaijan-Lithuania business forum.

Speaker will meet with Minister of Industry and Energy Natig Aliyev, Minister of Taxes Fazil Mammadov, visit Azerbaijan Museum of Literature and watch the concert at the State Philharmonic Hall named after Muslum Magomayev. Lithuanian embassy will organize a concert at Azerbaijan State Philharmonic Hall on the occasion of the country’s Independence Day. Famous Lithuanian pianist Muza Rubackyte will perform together with Azerbaijani Chamber Orchestra. The exhibition of Lithuanian painter and composer Mikalojus Čiurlionis will be opened at the Philharmonic Hall the same day.

The visit will end on February 11.
The delegation includes Lithuanian businessmen. They will attend the business forum in Baku, study the opportunities of investment in Azerbaijan.
