The oral examination of successful condidates who wanted to become judjes came to an end. The examination was conducted for approximately 60 vacancies. According to the information that the Election Committee of Judges gave to Trend News on Tuesday, the examination had been conducted with the participation of 111 condidates who had succeeded in the oral and test examination and up to 30 observers from local and international organisations.
The questions of the examination have been prepared in the same lecture hall each day and the condidates have easily responded to them. The question both covered law and at the same time, helped to define the level of knowledge, language skills, logicality and to verify general world outlook of the condidates.
On the basis of the results of the examination, 80 condidates who scored 60 and more points, will take part in the next stage – the education course. The condidates have taken the test examinations on May 7. The course of the examinations has been observed by up to 30 representatives from local and international non-governmental organisations. 213 people out of 438 condidates who attended the test, have scored 60 and more points and acquired the possibility to take part in the second stage of the competition. Soon after the examinations, the answering cards of the condidates have been verified and announced in the audience.
The Election Committee of Judges has organised two contests so far for becoming judges and 157 lawyers with high preparedness have been appointed to the positions for judges.
