The Joint Working Group on the implementation of international human rights standards in Azerbaijan (http://www.humanrights-jwg.org) starts realization of the project of “Monitoring of Highway Patrol Service in central highways”, taking into account large number of complaints against the bodies of the Head State Road Police of the Ministry of Interior which carry out Highway Patrol Service in main higways, the “Hot Line” service received last months.
The project will be realized on directions of Baku – Astara – Baku, Baku- Ganja – Baku, Baku – Xachmaz – Baku in January-March in different periods. The organization of the work of radars installed on the roads, activity of the itinerant radars, the activity of Highway Patrol Service officers, implementing the service in accordance with “Instructions on Highway Patrol Service” will be monitored due to the project.
The “Hot Line” service (012 408 30 17 and 408 30 27) was assigned to realize the project of “ Monitoring of Highway Patrol Service in central highways”.
